She is as sweet as she is gorgeous. She loves gentle affection with a slow approach. We believe Splash had several very difficult months as a stray. She was brought to us after being found in downtown Montello. She was very thin with badly frost-bitten ears. The tips of both of her ears were so damaged they literally fell off. Again, remembering that this little girl was brought to us at only 10 months old. She spent her most of her first year alone and struggling to survive, but we are so thankful she did as she is amazing cat! Splash is kind and comfortable with other cats but seems exceptionally fearful of dogs. We can only assume she may have come across some (unfriendly) dogs during her former street life. During a very limited and brief experience with a dog that she only "heard" in our shelter, Splash seemed terrified and hide until the dog exited. Based on this, we have to assume Splash would prefer a dog-free home. If you want a cat that you can show "the good life" to, this little girl sure deserves to experience better than she knew as a kitten. She deserves to feel safe and loved now and for the rest of her life. All of our kitties have s/n completed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
