About Bandit Groves
Nicest dog in the shelter, right here! Bandit Groves is a warm wonderful big guy who came to LCSPCA as an owner-surrender on 11/15/25 at age 5 years, weighing 65 lbs. This chunky monkey is so calm, patient and kind, it breaks our hearts to see him endure the stress of living in a shelter. He gets along well with another dog who was relinquished with him and seems to be social and friendly toward people and other pets. Bandit is a big teddy bear. The reason he was surrendered was because the people had to move for work and would not take him. He was in good health, his bloodwork looked great, he had no illnesses and was already neutered. He appears to be a possible mix of Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriver/Hound. The only reason he is still living in a shelter months later is because he is 5 years old and not under age 2 which is what most adopters look for. Bandit is a wonderful dog and would be so grateful for whomever gave him a second chance. He was house-broken at his former home.
