Meet Vee (aka "Vee-Vee") - a gentle, shy soul looking for a patient home Vee is an extremely shy and sensitive foster kitty who startles easily with loud noises and quick movements. She has a sweet, kind disposition-and when she chooses to join you on her own terms, she'll reward you with gentle company. Right now, Vee spends most days tucked away under bedclothes or behind items in a dark closet-she's been working hard to "heal her nervous system" and feels safest in quiet hiding spots. At night she comes out to occasionally play with toys on her own, wander the house (ghost-hunting included), and get brief kisses and cuddles at her favorite human's bedtime. She also gets along with a resident dominant female cat. What Vee needs: A quiet, predictable home (she's easily scared by noise and fast movement) A patient adopter who will let Vee set the pace-no forced interactions Plenty of cozy hiding spots (safe room, closet nook, covered bed) so she can decompress during the day A home that's happy with a mostly nocturnal companion-expect quiet daytime rest and short nighttime visits for cuddles Vee is an easy-going eater: just needs tasty crunchies and lots of fresh water; treats are welcome once she's awake and feeling safe If you have a calm, loving home and a soft spot for wallflowers, Vee-Vee may be your perfect match.
