Would you like a dog but don’t have the time? Meet Gus. Gus is a great boy. Independent, confident, and cuddly. He is very attached to his people, but would prefer not to live with other cats. He ALSO thinks he’s a dog and, if he lives with one, will likely try to tell that dog that he is the boss. So, he’d be best in a home without other pets. But who needs other pets when you have Gus? Gus likes to go outside on harness and leash for wanders around the backyard (keep hold of the leash though, he likes to hunt and is very fast!). He enjoys hikes in his backpack. He’s good in the car. He plays with all the toys, can do all the food puzzles, and is very energetic. He’s lived with kids and would enjoy the company of respectful children (only likes to be picked up by experienced hands who know when to put him down). He’s a busy body who likes to be involved with everything going on in the home. He will cuddle and sleep with his people, but he also likes to do his own thing and will sleep in a cat tree where he can watch out the window on occasion. Gus is a chill dude. An extrovert at heart who has love to give and wants someone who will give him the attention he deserves. He is eating Stella And Chewy Freeze Dried Raw food and loves frozen kitty kongs with treats for enrichment. The adoption fee is $150 including tax; adoptive homes are given all vet records at the adoption.
