Meet Buddy, the 1 year old chihuahua terrier mix looking for his forever home. Buddy loves everyone and greet them with boundless enthusiasm, launching into laps for hello hugs (watch the coffee!), following you from room to room, and happily snuggling close. He would even sleep on your head if you let him. Every time you sit down, your lap is fair game. He’s a playful guy who loves squeaky toys and zoom sessions, but he’s just as happy to curl up on the couch for a movie. Crate-trained and polite on leash, Buddy enjoys walks and meeting new people. He does okay with other dogs but can be a bit pushy, so he’d do best with a calm, laid-back canine companion or as an only dog. Important to know: Buddy resource guards his food and any pilfered snacks. His new family should be prepared to manage this with consistent routines and supervised feeding if he is living with another dog.
