Jax is a true survivor with a heart just as strong as his spirit. Once at risk of euthanasia due to severe injuries, Jax came into rescue with a broken pelvis and leg. His recovery was long, but today, Jax is thriving as a happy, resilient tripod with his whole life ahead of him. At just about 1 year old and 32 lbs, Jax is a sweet, people-loving boy who is ready to find his forever home. He adores human attention and is eager to bond deeply with his person. Because of his extended crate rest during medical recovery, Jax is a bit behind socially and still learning about the world around him. He will do best with an experienced owner, preferably familiar with herding breeds, who can help guide him through new experiences with patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. With the right person, Jax has so much potential to grow into an incredibly loyal and well-rounded companion.
