Kipper Paws Behind
AvailableKipper is a large, adult, neutered male Shepherd/Doberman Pinscher mix currently in Goshen, KY. His striking two-tone reddish tan coat makes him stand out, and he is fully house trained. Kipper is vaccinated and has been professionally trained, but does not do well with cats. He is searching for a family willing to continue building on his progress and give him a loving, structured home.
About Kipper Paws Behind
Kipper has a true comeback story. With soulful eyes and a two-tone reddish tan coat, this four-year-old Shepherd/Doberman mix started life chained up and isolated, unsure of people and other dogs. He spent months with expert trainers in the Paws Behind Bars Training Program and came out the other side a completely different dog. Kipper now rocks group play with other dogs and knows a stack of commands: sit, stay, down, come, touch, place, leave it, shake, wait, sit pretty, and even fetch. He's house and crate trained too. He’s a big boy—about 70 pounds—who needs an adopter ready to keep up his training. After only recently learning the basics of trust and social skills, slow, steady structure will matter for him. Kipper gets along well with other dogs but is not a fit with cats. He’s eager for his chance at a normal, active life in a dedicated home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
