Rescued as part of a group of 29 Maltipoos and Poodles from a backyard breeding situation, Bethany spent her early life without the comfort, care, or affection every dog deserves. Because of that, she’s still figuring things out but what she has figured out is how to love in the sweetest, most gentle way. At just 2 years old and 8 pounds, Bethany is a petite little girl with soft eyes that seem to ask, “Is this really my life now?” And the answer is yes only it’s about to get even better. Bethany is incredibly loving, but she expresses it quietly. She’ll stay close, watch you, and slowly inch her way into your heart. She doesn’t rush—she builds trust, and when she does, it feels truly special. She takes great comfort in her foster brother and would likely do best in a home with another friendly dog to help guide her and show her the ropes. Watching her learn from him how to relax, how to feel safe, how to just be a dog is something her foster family cherishes every day. Playtime is still new territory. She is curious and starting to explore. It’s like she is discovering pieces of puppyhood she never got to have. Bethany has been recently spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations, and has started her grooming journey. She may still be a bit of a work in progress on the outside, but her inner beauty is already undeniable, and with time, she is going to absolutely glow.
