Meet Cooper. Cooper is a playful mixed breed puppy looking for a loving home! This brown and white, male ball of energy is around 3-4 months old and weighs approximately 16-20 pounds. With his striking green eyes, he is as charming as he is mischievous. When he first arrived at his foster home, he was known for nipping at ankles and exhibiting some playful humping, but he quickly learned proper puppy etiquette from the other dogs in his foster family. Whether indoors or outdoors, Cooper loves to play, savoring his toys and bones. He gets along well with his four canine companions, who range in age from 8 months to 10 years, and he has happily interacted with kids at events. However, due to his initial ankle-biting tendencies, very young children may not be the best match for him. Additionally, Cooper's high prey drive means he might not do well with smaller animals like birds or gerbils. When playtime ends, Cooper seeks cuddles and companionship, often climbing gates to stay close to you. He's not destructive; he simply enjoys being near his human friends. At night, he sleeps contently in his crate, maintaining its cleanliness. Still a puppy, he has some house training ahead of him. Cooper knows “sit” and is eager to learn more commands, especially when treats are involved. This sweet puppy is just looking for a patient family who can guide him through his training journey. He truly hopes you'll choose him! The standard adoption fee is $465, but we offer a $15 discount for cash or check payments, bringing it down to $450. This fee covers spay/neuter when age-appropriate, vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, and microchipping. To ensure a great match, we require a completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with your family. Completing an application doesn’t guarantee adoption but starts the review process. Cooper is ready for his forever family. Will you be the one?
