Boots is a one of a kind, four year old orange tabby with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is incredibly sweet, loving, and talkative, and he truly enjoys being around people. Boots will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you, and if you say his name, he will chuff right back as if he is having a conversation with you. He adores affection, especially belly rubs, and would thrive in a quieter home where he has a cozy lap to curl up in. Boots is the kind of cat who forms deep bonds with his person. He has been through a lot in his life, including being left outside after once living indoors, where he spent three years surviving on his own. Because of this, he will need an adopter who can offer patience, understanding, and time to build trust. Once he feels safe, his loving and friendly nature truly shines. Boots must be an indoor only cat where he can feel safe and secure. He does very well with other kind and friendly cats and would likely enjoy having one feline companion. He has always been social with other cats and even made many cat friends during his time outside. He loves watching the world from a window, spending time bird watching and soaking in the sunshine. He is also very food motivated and gets excited for treats and wet food. When it is time to play, Boots enjoys chasing a laser light and rolling in catnip. Boots has a unique and charming look. While he is an orange tabby, he has adorable freckles on his eyelids, gums, and nose that make him stand out. He is fully vetted and ready for his forever home, though he will need a dental in the future for a broken top canine tooth, which Pet Haven will take care of.
