While he’s mastered the basics, there’s one thing he’s still not a fan of… the crate. But honestly, can you blame him? Levi would much rather be curled up next to you, soaking in all the love and attention he can get. His foster mom couldn’t resist his sweet face, and now Levi gets to snuggle in bed at night—his absolute favorite! He’s a true Velcro dog, happiest when he’s close to his people. Whether it’s going for a walk or settling in for a cozy cuddle session, Levi is all about companionship. Bonus: when he falls asleep, his little tongue sticks out—it’s as cute as it sounds! Levi came from a loving home, but sadly his previous owner could no longer care for him. Despite that, he’s full of love and ready to share it with a new family. He does great with people of all ages! Most of our dogs are rescued from high-intake shelters in Texas or straight off the streets in South Texas where there are packs of stray dogs running loose. Your fee covers the significant costs of bringing them to safety. Your adoption fee covers: spay/neuter (if old enough), transport fees getting the dogs from Texas to our fosters homes here (that ALONE is $200-$230 per dog), core vaccines, heartworm test (If old enough), deworming, and microchip. We partner with VCA Animal Hospitals. With every adoption comes a complimentary First Exam at any participating VCA location within the first 14 days of adoption. Follow-up Care Coverage: VCA provides limited health guarantee coverage (up to $250) for specific minor illnesses (like kennel cough or ear infections) diagnosed during that initial 14-day window. We do not guarantee the breed of any of our dogs or how big they will be when they are fully grown. The breed listed is typically a guess based off of appearance or personality traits. We cannot guarantee that any dog is not mixed with pit. This is a standard part of adopting a dog from rescue. We are a non-profit rescue. Any access revenue made is used to care for animals with additional medical expenditures that would otherwise result in adoptable dogs having to be left behind and euthanized.
