Meet Journey Journey is a 6-year-old Chi-weenie with a gentle soul and a story that truly lives up to her name. Her journey to us is a sad one. Her owners became very ill and were hospitalized, no longer able to care for themselves or for her. When Animal Control arrived, it was clear that while she was loved, her living conditions were not what she deserved. We promised her family that we would find Journey the safe, happy, and loving home they wanted for her. Journey is under 20 pounds, low energy, and an easy walker-perfect for a calm and cozy home. She's the kind of dog who just wants to be near you, soaking up love and giving it right back. She's currently in a foster home with another dog. It's a new experience for her, so she's a little unsure, but she's adjusting and doing okay. She seems to like kids, and we don't see any concerns with cats. Right now, Journey is a bit confused with all the changes in her life-but through it all, she remains sweet, cuddly, and full of love. With a little patience and a lot of kindness, we know she'll settle beautifully into her forever home.
