Hi there, I'm Tank - a 54-pound Heeler mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. I may come across as a little shy and cautious when we first meet, but underneath that nervousness is a sweet and gentle baby who just wants to feel safe and loved. I'm a total snuggle bug and happiest when I can curl up beside you, soaking in all the affection you're willing to give. I aim to please and truly want to be a good boy, and once I start to feel comfortable, you'll see just how much of a lover boy I really am. I have wonderful manners, an easygoing temperament, and I'm perfectly content simply hanging out with my favorite humans and being part of your everyday life. Since I'm still a puppy, I'll need some basic training to help me grow into the best version of myself, but I'm smart and eager to learn, so I think I'll catch on quickly! What I really need is a patient home that will help build my confidence and gently introduce me to the world so it doesn't feel quite so scary. As an active breed, I'll thrive with both mental and physical activities to keep me happy and balanced, along with plenty of socialization to help my personality shine brighter every day.
