About Estraya
Meet Estraya, a young female pup with a heart as warm and sunny as her name. With a loving and gentle spirit, she is sure to bring joy to her new family. Estraya is a curious and affectionate soul, always up for an adventure or a cozy cuddle on the couch. She has a playful side and a silly sense of humor, keeping you entertained and on your toes. With her sunny disposition, she will be your ray of light on cloudy days and your loyal companion through life's ups and downs. Estraya is waiting for her forever home, and she might just be the perfect fit for yours! This darling girl was brought to the shelter as stray. She was not reclaimed and the family she had didn't share any information on her making everything about her a guess. She is around 2 years old, seems to love everyone she meets, and has done well meeting a few other dogs here in the shelter. She came in missing fur, and without knowing her diet we have to guess if she has a flea allergy, or food allergy. We have her on no poulty and dies, which are the most common food allergen. She is healing well! She keeps a very clean kennel, this leads us to assume she is housebroken. She will be spayed prior to adoption. At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at no additional cost to the owner. This is one reason we have fees on the dogs to help cover the extra medical some of the other residents need. They all share the burden and the rewards. No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals! We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We typically require a meet-and-greet between any resident dogs and the dog you’re interested in adopting, to ensure everyone gets along safely and comfortably. Want to Know if I’m Still Available? Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability. If you’d like to show you’re thinking about adopting, please fill out an application on our website under "Adopt" at www.hsomc.org. Open Adoption Hours: • Tuesday & Wednesday: Noon – 6 pm • Thursday & Friday: Noon – 7 pm • Saturday: Noon – 4 pm I’m located at the Humane Society of Midland County, 4371 E Ashman St, Midland, MI 48642.
