Special arrival all the way from St. Croix, USVI. We have a very special little traveler heading our way… meet Steve! Steve is coming to us from Ruff Start in St. Croix and landed in Detroit Saturday (3/14) on a rescue flight. He already has a wonderful foster family lined up to welcome him when he arrives, but he is also looking for his forever home! Steve is about 4 months old and currently weighs around 15 lbs. With these island dogs, we never really know exactly what size they will be as adults, which just adds to the fun surprise of watching them grow! After making such a big journey to get here, we would love nothing more than for him to land straight into the arms of the family that will love him forever. Imagine being the family that gets to say, “Our dog flew all the way here from St. Croix!” He will be settling into his foster home while he waits for his perfect match. Once submitted you will get a confirmation email or text saying we received your application. Apps are processed fully in the order received.
