Hey there! I’m Dusty. My mom, brother, and I were on the verge of being dumped into an already overcrowded rural shelter in TX when I was just 2 weeks old. This great rescue stepped up to save us. I’m currently weighing in at 2 lbs and my approximate DOB is 1/30/26. I’m just a little nugget. My mom has long silky hair... Maybe mixed with some Shih Tzu, Maltese, and/or Havanese. My dad is guessed to be a small scruffy Terrier mix that was dumped at the same time as us. My wish is to have a family of my own to grow up with and love. They say I’m entertaining with lots of puppy energy, puppy licks, and an affection for toys & socks. I’m curious and brave, always being the leader between my bro and me. I’ve been doing good with crate training and have recently started potty training. I LOVE playing with other dogs and kids. I will be adopted out on a neuter contract and the rescue will pay for it at our vet when I’m 6 months old, therefore, you must be local. I’m up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and ready to meet my forever family! My adoption donation fee is $500. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
