About Tia
Tia recently had her first grooming session since joining the rescue and handled it like a pro. At seven years old, this Maltese mix came from a puppy mill, where life shaped her into a cautious soul. She’s still figuring out what it means to live in a real home and isn’t your average lap dog—her comfort zone revolves around her kennel, where she watches the world outside from her dog bed. Tia uses puppy pads, enjoys spending time outside, and is slowly warming up to the idea that people can be kind. She’s fully vetted and spayed, with her puppy-rearing days behind her for good. What Tia needs most is a calm, understanding family who will let her take things at her own pace; trust isn’t something she gives away quickly. She tends to do best with another small dog as a gentle mentor, but isn’t suited for cats. She’s come far already and deserves the chance to spend the rest of her life safe, comfortable, and truly loved. Click apply to start the adoption process.
