About Rooney
Rooney is a striking two-year-old domestic shorthair who ended up in rescue after spending time wandering without a home. Once inside and given a chance to recover, his easy-going personality and friendliness quickly shined through. Rooney loves being a part of the action—he’s quick to jump up beside you and soak up affection, and he thrives on playtime. He’s adaptable and can flourish as an only cat, but he’s also open to the company of others. In foster, he’s shown that he can build positive relationships with other cats after a careful introduction—he’s already formed a connection with a foster sibling, and with some patience, has become comfortable with another as well. If you’re looking for an affectionate, laid-back, and social cat to share your space, Rooney could be a great fit. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
