About Elvis Special Needs
Elvis is the kind of cat you remember. Rescued after being severely injured outdoors, his gentle spirit was obvious the moment he healed enough to rest his head in a willing lap. Now, fully recovered and neutered, Elvis is in good health, but he has tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). This means he will thrive best in a calm indoor home—either as the only cat, with other FeLV+ cats, or dogs, since this virus can only be transmitted to other felines. Elvis is pure affection. He’ll follow you everywhere, meow for your attention, and settle happily into any warm spot near you. His favorite things are chin scratches and cozy naps, and he’s known to turn on the purrs as soon as you walk into the room. He’s up to date on vaccines, flea and tick treated, dewormed, and FIV negative. Elvis gets along with cats, dogs, and children. For Elvis, stress-free, loving companionship is the key to a long and happy life. He’s patiently waiting for someone to give him that chance. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
