Because this tiny little Terrier-Chi mix truly seems equipped with every feature imaginable: • cuddle mode • zoomie mode • tiny explorer mode • emotional support sidekick mode • professional toy thief mode • and a very advanced “look at you with big puppy eyes until you forget your own name” mode At just 4-5 months old, Gadget is still very much a puppy, which means every day feels brand new and exciting to her. A crinkly toy? Incredible. A blanket fresh from the dryer? Life changing. You walking into the room after being gone for seventeen seconds? The greatest reunion in human history. Gadget is the kind of puppy people imagine when they think about getting a dog. The kind who falls asleep beside you while you watch TV. The kind who follows you into the kitchen because maybe snacks are happening. The kind who makes you laugh so hard you accidentally wake her up from a nap. The kind whose tiny face somehow becomes your entire camera roll within a week. She has this sweet, gentle way about her that makes people instantly protective of her. Even when she’s being mischievous, she somehow still feels innocent. Like when a toddler proudly hands you the thing they absolutely were not supposed to touch. And make no mistake: Gadget is hilarious. This little girl approaches life with the curiosity of a tiny scientist who accidentally drank espresso. She loves exploring. Climbing onto things she probably should not be climbing onto? One of her passions. Investigating mysterious household sounds? Vital business. Carrying random objects around the room like she’s handling very important assignments? Also essential. Her foster says she’s the princess of the household, and honestly... accurate. Gadget absolutely knows how cute she is. She has mastered the art of politely demanding attention while pretending she had nothing to do with it. She’ll look at you with those big eyes like, “Oh wow, are you petting me again? That’s crazy. Definitely continue.” And when playtime is over? She transforms into an Olympic level snuggler. Few things in life are as healing as a sleepy puppy curling into your arms like she’s known you forever. That’s Gadget. She’s playful without being wild, affectionate without being overwhelming, and sweet in a way that sneaks up on you. She may take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once she decides you’re safe, she loves with her whole tiny heart. She’s also incredibly smart. Gadget already knows “sit” and “wait,” is fully potty-pad trained, and is learning quickly every single day. She’s the kind of puppy who wants to understand her people and be part of the team. And while she’s still young, you can already see what an amazing dog she’s becoming. A best friend for coffee mornings. A couch buddy for movie nights. A tiny shadow trotting behind you through the house. The dog waiting excitedly at the door when you come home from work. The one people ask about when they see photos because “that puppy is ADORABLE.” Honestly, Gadget feels less like “just a puppy” and more like finding a missing piece of joy you didn’t realize your life was missing. Somewhere out there is the person who is going to pick her up for the first time, feel her melt into their arms, and immediately think: “Oh. There you are.” And if that person misses out on Gadget? They’re probably going to spend the next several months seeing tiny puppies on social media and whispering, “She kind of reminds me of that one puppy... what was her name again?” Gadget. Exactly.
