About S'mores
If you're looking for a feline buddy who wants to be right in the middle of everything you do, you've found your match in S'mores! This 3-year-old snowy-furred gentleman has officially moved past his rougher days as a stray. While he still has a "war wound" on his ear that shows just how resilient he is, it is now completely healed and just adds to his unique character. He is more than ready to trade in his wandering days for a cozy home where he can finally be pampered. S'mores is the ultimate companion who genuinely loves to be your "plus one." Whether you're folding laundry or working from home, he'll happily follow you from room to room just to make sure he isn't missing out on any of the action. One of his absolute favorite things to do is stand up and place his paws on your shoulders for a "tiny hug" while politely asking for chin scratches. He just wants to soak up all the affection you can offer! When he's not busy being your shadow, you can usually find him perched by the window, intently supervising the birds and leaves outside. He's incredibly easygoing, affectionate, and a huge fan of wet food--in fact, he'll let you know if you're even one minute late for mealtime! While S'mores is a friend to every human he meets, he's a bit more selective about his four-legged roommates. He would truly love to be your one-and-only king of the castle, but he may be open to a home with other pets if the fit is right (think "roommate" rather than "playmate"). If you already have a resident cat, S'mores will need a patient adopter committed to a slow, structured introduction starting in a "home base" room. He may also be okay with a calm dog who respects his personal bubble. Because he appreciates a predictable environment, we think he'd do best in a home with kids aged 8 and up. If you have a little patience and a soft spot for a cuddly supervisor, S'mores is ready to show you just how sweet life can be! His adoption fee is $225. *To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.* Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats. Once you have a confirmed appointment, you can monitor the adoption appointment calendar and move your appointment to an earlier opening should one become available. We are not able to contact you to switch your appointment. Stay up-to-date with all events and happenings at Caring for Cats!
