About Pixie

Pixie is a tiny Chihuahua with a big heart, seeking a calm, patient home. Although cautious at first, she bonds deeply with those she trusts—expect her to follow you around, curl up in your lap, or tuck herself close by whenever she can. She gains confidence from the presence of other small, gentle dogs but is easily intimidated by larger ones. Older, respectful children suit her best, as sudden movements or loudness can overwhelm her. Apartment living works well for Pixie, as long as she has regular companionship. Crate trained, Pixie sleeps peacefully near her person but may have accidents if left alone too long due to separation anxiety. Her potty training is still in progress, and she is just beginning to learn leash manners. She’d love a home where someone is around most days, because being near her people calms her. Pixie responds to her name and would make a devoted “purse pup” and loyal companion. She’ll need gentle patience as she gets used to new faces and places, but for those who let her warm up slowly, she’s a loving, affectionate friend. Transport is available for Pixie, and she's ready for the right family to discover her sweet nature. Adoption is the new adventure! Ready to roll?
