Max is a 3‐year‐old terrier mix weighing 9 pounds, and he's looking for a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and slowly come out of his shell. He was surrendered to us after his owner passed away, and the transition has understandably left him timid at first. With time, reassurance, and gentle handling, Max begins to warm up and show his sweet, tender personality. Our veterinary team noted that he is in good health overall, with his only medical need being a cherry eye removal. His adoption fee is $300. Because we don't observe our animals in home settings, we aren't able to guarantee whether they are housebroken. Upon intake, every animal receives: Spay/neuter surgery Microchip All age‐appropriate vaccinations Blood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed) Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention A complimentary wellness exam 7-10 days after adoption Please note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility.
