About Gabby
Gabby is a 7-year-old, spayed female Brittany Spaniel living in West Creek, NJ. She’s fully housebroken, obedience trained, and gets along well with other dogs. Gabby’s spring update says she’s relishing daily walks, park visits, and is always ready for an adventure—she even loves the water and looks forward to boat rides as the weather warms. Her foster mom describes her as smart, sweet, spirited, and particularly fond of treats, belly rubs, and snuggle time. Gabby is food-motivated and working on trimming down from 54 to 50 pounds to stay healthy. She prefers to be around her humans—if you work remotely or are retired, she'll be a steady, loyal companion. Even if left alone for short errands, Gabby waits calmly and is ready to greet you with a toy in tow when you come home. Gabby recently lost her sight due to SARDS or a neurological condition, but this hasn’t slowed her down; she confidently navigates her foster home and even manages steps. She’ll need a physical fence for safety and would thrive in a one-story home to avoid steep staircases. Despite her blindness, her spirit stays undimmed—her foster mom calls her a “super trooper.” She’s ready for a calm, loving home that can appreciate a brave, bright-hearted companion.
