About Rusty Roo

Rusty Roo 3 years old 48 lbs Hound x Cattledog mix Dog-friendly Crate trained There are dogs who cuddle. And then there is Rusty Roo, King of Chill, Emperor of Good Boy, Grand Duke of "go ahead, I'll just sit right here and love you forever." Rusty has elevated relaxation into an art form. Not lazy. Not loafing. This is intentional, curated serenity. A lifestyle. A brand. If calm had a spokesperson, it would be Rusty, gently leaning against your leg like, "we could spiral...or we could simply not." He does not approach you so much as he softly annexes your personal space like a benevolent monarch. One minute you're a person with boundaries, the next you are a deluxe, limited-edition cuddle surface and he is extremely pleased with this arrangement. And here's the thing: he's not trying to impress you. He simply exists at a frequency where everything feels a little better. The room settles. Your shoulders drop. Your day recalibrates. It's giving emotional support, it's giving "why am I suddenly okay," it's giving...Rusty. Dog-friendly and crate trained (he goes in, settles, understands the system...he just occasionally files a small, vocal complaint because, in his opinion, being out with you is the superior lifestyle), Rusty is operating at a level of sweetness that feels borderline unfair to the rest of the dog population. He's also still polishing his house manners. He's had a few accidents, but with a consistent schedule and regular trips outside, he's the kind of smart, eager-to-please boy who will absolutely get it down quickly. Think "in progress," not "problem." He will not demand the spotlight. He will not audition for your affection. He will simply show up, sit down, and become the best part of your life with absolutely no fanfare. Rusty Roo: reigning, ruling, and quietly running the entire kingdom of your heart-with the occasional, very respectful objection to crate-related policies.
