About Grace
Meet Grace 5 years old 50 lbs Hound mix Grace is a gentle, loving 5-year-old hound mix with soulful eyes and a calm, steady presence. She weighs about 50 pounds, is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and comes with wonderful manners-she's both house trained and crate trained. Grace is friendly with people and kiddos and does well with other dogs. She hasn't had the opportunity to meet cats yet, but her easygoing nature suggests she could do well with thoughtful introductions. She is being surrendered through no fault of her own. Her family recently welcomed a new baby and, with the changes in their household, are no longer able to give Grace the time and attention she deserves. Grace does have a history of pancreatitis, which is currently well managed with a low-fat gastrointestinal diet, daily medication and B12. With consistency and care, she does very well-and her rescue team is happy to help guide adopters through her routine. Grace is a truly sweet girl who bonds deeply with her people and thrives in a stable, loving home. She's looking for a family willing to manage her care and cherish her for the loyal, gentle companion she is. If you're seeking a calm, affectionate dog with a big heart and excellent manners, Grace may be the perfect addition to your home.
