Meet Nova Nova is a 5-year-old female Snowshoe/Domestic short hair mix weighing approx. 6 pounds who is looking for a quiet, loving home to call her own. Nova was taken in as a stray after being born in her neighborhood, and she has been living comfortably in a home environment ever since. Sadly, due to unfortunate circumstances, her family was unable to continue to care for her and surrendered her to the shelter so she can find a new family to love. She is housebroken and enjoys having the freedom to roam and relax in her space. Nova has a more reserved personality and tends to be shy, especially around young children. Because of this, she would do best in a calm home, ideally with adults or older children who can respect her space and allow her to warm up at her own pace. She does well with other cats and may enjoy the companionship of a feline friend. Like many cats, Nova will thrive in a patient home where she can build trust and settle in comfortably. With time and understanding, she has the potential to form a strong, loving bond with her new family. Nova's adoption fee is $50 which includes her spayed, microchip, rabies vaccination, FVRCP vaccine and FIV/FELV test. Her spay procedure, rabies vaccine and FIV/FELV test are scheduled for Wednesday, 04/15/26. This date is non-negotiable, therefore adopters should be plan accordingly to return Nova for spay appointment accordingly.
