He enjoys car rides, quiet time at home and curling up in bed with his humans at night. Treats are a big motivator for him and while toys are optional, attention is not. He is naturally quiet and unfazed by everyday household noises, making him a calm presence in the home. Training and Manners: Cliff is fully housetrained with regular outings and has solid basic manners. He's smart, foodmotivated, highly trainable and his leash skills keep improving with practice and positive reinforcement. He can get a little enthusiastic when treats or attention are on the line, but it all comes from excitement and his eagerness to be part of the fun. Health and Care: Cliff is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He is a healthy young dog who only requires routine monthly heartworm and flea and tick preventatives. He will benefit from occasional professional grooming along with regular brushing at home. Other Animals. Cliff gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He greets new dogs with friendly confidence and calm curiosity. He can be a bit pushy around treats, so easygoing canine friends are the best match. He hasn't been formally tested with cats, but his foster thinks he would be ok with a feline friend. Children: Cliff does not have known experience with young children. Based on his affectionate and gentle nature, he would likely do well with all ages. Ideal Home: Cliff is very peopleoriented and prefers not to be alone, as he forms strong attachments to his humans. Because of this, a singlefamily home is recommended while he continues to build confidence with independence. He does not require a large yard and is content staying close to his person on leashed outings.
