Meet Jasper! Jasper is a 4-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix with a big personality packed into a smaller frame. This handsome guy is not only full of life, but he’s also a very sweet and funny dog who will keep you smiling with his playful antics. He has done well with other dogs during his time with us and would likely enjoy a home where he can stay active, engaged, and part of the family. Jasper came to us as an owner surrender when his previous family could no longer provide the home he needs. He’s now looking for a fresh start with someone who can give him the time, structure, and love he deserves. Jasper is a typical terrier—smart, energetic, and full of character. He may benefit from some continued guidance with training and clear boundaries to help him be his best self. His previous owners did mention one instance where he was accidentally rolled on while sleeping and reacted by nipping, but no skin was broken. Because of this, a home that understands dog body language and can respect his space—especially while resting—would be ideal. There was also a report of a possible past seizure, though we have not observed any seizure activity while he has been in our care.
