They are kitten brothers, born 9-1-25, that are looking for their forever home. On looks alone, we know these floofy boys will get a lot of attention from adopters. But they are looking for an adopter that is experienced and will be willing to continue teaching them how amazing love from humans can be. These boys were brought to NAWS as older kittens after being found outdoors - they were timid and not used to people. They have been working hard on their socialization ever since and have made a lot of progress, but still need an adopter that will put in the time with them to keep improving. Could your home be the right one for these stunning brothers? Squirt, the long-haired black and white boy, is the more confident brother once trust is established. He will now jump on his foster’s lap to cuddle and will purr like crazy when he feels safe and content. He can be picked up and held, but it is not his favorite activity - he would rather explore. Squirt is sweet and social in the right environment. Once he adjusts to a new home, we believe he will share his adorable personality. Pepsi, the long-haired grey boy, is shy. While he is gaining confidence every day, he needs a patient and understanding adopter. Trust will need to be earned slowly with this sweetheart. When nervous, he will run and hide in his safe place (a cave bed). If approached slowly, he can be picked up and held, but will likely prefer the interactions to be short and sweet. We truly believe he has a lot of potential. His foster brushes him daily, cuddles and gives him massages, and plays with him with a wand toy, all to gain trust. Pepsi may give an occasional hiss, to simply say “ I am scared and you need to go slowly with me,” but never swats or bites. He will just run off to his safe place. We would love to find a home for these two where they can stay together and thrive with an experienced adopter. They are good with other cats and cat-friendly dogs. They will need daily brushing to maintain their gorgeous coats and prevent matting. The ideal adopter should be comfortable working on their socialization. They will likely be timid in a meet and greet around new people. But in their foster home, they play and explore - with time to adjust, they can become comfortable in a new home.
