About Mercy May
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Mercy May! This stunning long-haired tabby started her journey in southern Illinois before being rescued from a difficult situation and brought into a caring foster home. Though initially timid, Mercy May has blossomed into a sweet, affectionate companion thanks to the patience of her foster family and the support of her feline friends. Now, she delights in curling up beside you during TV time, climbing into bed for snuggles, and reaching out for gentle pets, greeting you with her adorable chatter. Mercy May still prefers interactions on her own terms and isn’t quite comfortable being picked up from standing, but her trust continues to grow daily. She’s best suited to a home where her adopters are willing to let her set the pace, and she will reward that patience with devotion and love. Mercy May would thrive either as an only cat or with other friendly felines who help her feel secure. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find a forever home that understands her gentle spirit. Start your journey together! Apply now.
