Thistle was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. He is a large (almost 12 pounds!), handsome, and friendly boy who loves to get attention from people. What Thistle does NOT love is other cats. He is a happy little purr machine until he sees another cat, and then he gets cranky and hissy and swatty. Since that is not the way we want him to live his life, we highly recommend that Thistle be the only cat in your home. His purrsonality is large enough for two cats, and he promises to love you so much & keep you so busy that you will not feel the need for another feline in your life. Thistle thoroughly enjoys petting and likes to be close to his favorite humans, so we suspect once he is comfortable in the home he will be a cuddler. He is extremely playful and cannot wait to leave his cabin behind for a life filled with toys, treats, attention, and his very own human to make sure he gets all the fun things.
