About Pintada

Pintada was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. We learned that her name means graffiti or a spotted speckled female animal in Spanish, so she too is aptly named! Pintada is an absolute delight of a tortoiseshell girl, and her tiny white paws and white chest make her look as though she's wearing a torti tuxedo❤️ She can be a bit shy initially, but it is easy to win her over with gentle affection and a sweet voice. Pintada leans her head into your hand for petting and clearly wants to be close to her human. As an older lady, Pintada prefers snuggly cat beds and cozy blankets to toys, but she can be induced to play if you bring out the Cat Dancer wire toy - she'll never turn down a chance to bat at that thing! With her retiring yet loving demeanor, we suspect that Pintada will be a lap cat for her chosen human or humans. She makes you feel like a superhero when she gives you the look of love and nudges your hand with her head. Come meet our pretty princess Pintada today - she'd love to go home with you! If you'd like to meet Pintada and all her friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
