Hi, I'm Hutch. I'm 3 years old, and I'm still trying to understand how I ended up here. I used to have a home, but the other dog there didn't really like me, and I guess there just wasn't room for me anymore. That's been really hard, and I've been feeling pretty quiet and a little sad lately. I'm just taking it all in and hoping things will get better soon. Even though my heart feels a little heavy right now, I still love being around people—especially kids. They make me feel safe and happy. I get along great with other dogs too, and I'd really love a friend who actually wants to be my buddy. I'm a gentle, social, and loving guy. I might be a little shy at first, but once I know I'm safe, my sweet side really shines through. All I want is a place where I'm wanted, where I can relax, and where I can finally feel at home again. Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs.
