I'm Oliver, a 51-pound Doberman Pinscher mix with a spunky, energetic spirit and a love for adventure! I might be a little unsure when I first encounter new things or people, but once I start to feel comfortable, my happy-go-lucky personality really shines through. Right now, I can get a bit distracted-it's hard to focus when I'm still figuring out my surroundings-but that just means I'm taking everything in. Exploring the world is one of my favorite things, so I may come off as independent at first, but really, I'm just following my curious nose and soaking it all up. I'm an active, high-energy guy who would thrive in a busy, adventurous home where there's always something to do. Puzzle toys are my favorite-I'm a big foodie, and I love anything that keeps my mind working while earning a tasty reward! Small spaces can make me feel a bit anxious, so I'd do best somewhere with room to move and people who can keep up with my energy. The good news? I know my name and will come when called! Once I feel safe and settled, I turn into a total lover boy-loyal, affectionate, and ready to be your devoted companion for life. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
