I'm Winston, a 53-pound Retriever mix with a big heart and lots of energy to match! I can be a little nervous at first, especially in new environments, but once I start to feel safe, my sweet personality really shines. I've got an active mind and body, so I'll need plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep me happy-maybe even a fun "job" to do! I absolutely love spending time with Oliver, the dog I came in with, and I really enjoy having access to the outdoors where I can stretch my legs and explore. I'm a total lover boy at heart and adore belly rubs-they're one of my favorite things in the world! I can be a bit vocal, especially when I'm excited or trying to tell you something, but it just means I've got a lot of personality to share. With the right home that understands my energy and helps me build confidence, I'll blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who's always ready to love big and live life to the fullest. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society. All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
