About Triscuit
Triscuit is at our shelter. Please submit an application from our website or just come in to meet him during open hours! Scroll through his photos to see his cute video content! Triscuit is a 5 year old gentleman who came to us all the way from Alabama. He hasn't been here long, but he is already a fan favorite. Everyone who meets him takes about 3 seconds to become completely obsessed, and when you meet him, you'll see why! First of all, he's built like a loaf of bread. He's got short legs and wrinkles for days like a basset hound, but the head of.... we're not sure! A pointer? A lab? All of us are stumped, just like his legs. Second, Triscuit is truly the.nicest.boy. The NICEST. It breaks your absolute heart how sweet he is. He moseys on up to everyone he meets, looking at them with his wise, kind eyes, ready to accept treats, pets, or his number one favorite thing, belly rubs. He keeps his kennel immaculate. He isn't pushy, he isn't loud, and he isn't demanding. He's reported to do well with children and other dogs. Just a wonderful companion for just about any situation. While some people are looking for a young puppy to raise, happy to accept all the house training and chewing that goes with it, we know there are also people who love a plug-and-play like Triscuit, who can just move in without turning everything upside down, and provide the unconditional love that comes from a beloved pet. His life couldn't have been easy up to this point, but he isn't interested in dwelling on his past, he's interested in dwelling in your home! Triscuit's adoption fee is $300. This animal is neutered and up to date on core vaccines. Triscuit completed treatment for Heartworm on 03/04/2026 and may continue to test positive for several months. He will need to be re-tested in December 2026. Triscuit will need a dental to be covered by Heartland and to take place at our shelter with our vet, in June or July.
