About Zina

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Zina is a precious pup believed to be a petite Beagle-Basset mix, weighing only 28 lbs—quite small for a Basset! She’s estimated to be around 8 to 9 years old and recently joined BAARK’s program after spending months in an animal control facility. Since joining her foster family, Zina has flourished and shown her love for people. She is outgoing, playful, and immediately warms up to everyone she meets. Zina gets along well with other dogs and is also comfortable with children who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. This absolutely perfect girl has received complete veterinary care, including up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing, year-round preventative, and is both spayed and microchipped. She is housebroken and eager for a forever home, where she can share her affectionate and joyful spirit. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
