Rocket’s story started in the scariest place imaginable—darting along I-76 in Philadelphia, alone and unsure of the world around him. Somehow, this resilient little survivor made it through, and while his body is safe now, his heart is still learning what that means. At just around 2.5 years old, Rocket is still a young cat with so much life ahead of him—but he needs the right person to help him truly live it. Right now, people are a mystery he doesn’t quite trust. Hands can feel overwhelming, and affection is something he’s still figuring out. What Rocket does understand, though, is other cats. He needs them. Their presence comforts him, guides him, and shows him that maybe the world isn’t so scary after all. A home with a confident, friendly kitty (or a few!) will be his safe haven and his roadmap to confidence.
