12/26/25 15:19 Reason animal needs rescue: Presented as stray and found to have severe hind limb paraparesis, nonambulatory in pelvic limbs; mild motor present and withdrawal responses present in both pelvic limbs; no hopping or back stepping placing noted in pelvic limbs. Radiographs showed no pelvic or vertebral abnormalities, on recheck exam 12/26 showing mild improvement in pelvic limb function but still unable to ambulate on PL's, no incontinence, occasional lateral stepping noted and withdrawal and improved motor to PL's. Type: Medical Date animal needs rescue by: ASAP Impound type: Stray 01/05/26 14:35 Patient has regained ability to stand and ambulate with moderate severe back limb weakness and ataxia. Patient is expected to continue to improve based on progress thus far. Still in need of rescue as patient in need of continued extended cagerest at this time. 01/20/26 15:13 Patient has had intermittent right front limp since intake -- had resolved, now recurrent - repeat forelimb x-rays show no bony abnormalities. Treating with pain medication, cause for limp is unknown at this time. Cat is also licking right front paw and there is mild skin infection there. Treating with antibiotics. Patient still has weakness in back legs, wobbly, unsteady, but can ambulate in the hind.
