5/26/26: Meet Sheba - Smart, Beautiful, and Ready for Her Fresh Start Sheba is a beautiful 2-year-old girl who came to us from a Pennsylvania shelter and is just beginning her new chapter. Since entering the prison training program, she has made wonderful progress and continues to show just how intelligent and eager to learn she is. Before training, Sheba knew very little, but she has since learned commands including sit, come, stay, heel, place, off, platform, stairs, and correction commands like "no" and "hey." She's also learned to catch a ball and is getting better at bringing it back and dropping it during play. Sheba is a loving, affectionate dog who enjoys attention and engagement with her people. She has done well with male dogs and can be selective with some dogs if they are reactive toward her first, though she has never shown extreme reactions herself. As Sheba continues settling in, we are still learning more about her personality each day. She would do best with a patient family willing to continue her training, build her confidence, and help her keep growing into the amazing companion we know she can be. --- 4/27/26: See ya later, everyone! I'm being shipped off to the rescue's monthly Prison Program today! While I'm there I'll get some basic training, crate training, and some socialization. I won't be available for adoption until I return to the rescue on May 26th. If you'd like to come meet me when I'm back, please schedule your appointment that Wednesday the 27th. Until then! --- 4/13/26: Meet Sheba Sheba is a beautiful girl, around 2 years old, who was transferred to us from a shelter here in Pennsylvania. She is just beginning her journey with us, and we are still learning more about her personality each day as she settles in. So far, Sheba has shown that she can get along well with male dogs, which is a great start as we continue to evaluate her social skills. She seems to enjoy company and is taking in her new environment with interest and curiosity. As we get to know her better, we'll be able to share more about what makes Sheba unique. For now, she is looking for a patient home willing to grow with her as she continues to open up and show us who she truly is. --- 4/8/26: Sheba is a beautiful new arrival who joined our rescue on 4/7/26. She's currently settling in and taking some time to decompress as she adjusts to her new surroundings. Right now, we're still getting to know Sheba and allowing her the space she needs to feel comfortable and show us her true personality. As she settles in, we'll be learning more about her temperament, preferences, and needs. Stay tuned for updates as Sheba continues to decompress-we're excited to watch her come out of her shell and can't wait to share more about this special lady!
