About Max
Max is a 2-and-a-half-year-old male Bichon Frise looking for a peaceful, predictable home. After losing his elderly owner, Max was understandably afraid and unsure, having spent most of his life indoors. His brief placement with an active family proved overwhelming, so he's been in foster care so he could relax and show more of his personality. He thrives with the companionship of another small, friendly, outgoing dog and grew more confident sharing his days. Max needs a calm household with a regular routine and no small children. Too much commotion isn’t right for him. He loves his crate, is house trained, and never has accidents. Max has even learned to meet new people using the 'touch' command—and will sometimes bring a favorite toy to greet you. Regular grooming is a must for his signature bichon curls, and his adoption fee is sponsored. Max is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He’s only available to the right situation, and his placement will be thoughtfully chosen to set everyone up for success. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
