Sugar faced Shadow is an 11-year-old lab/pittie mix who is on the hunt for his new family. He found himself in a sad and scary situation after his owner passed away and he was on the euthanasia list after being at the shelter since January. He has done well with kids, other dogs, and most everything! For an old man he's got the energy of a puppy. He loves just hanging out and relaxing, but also getting to go outside to run and play. He enjoys car rides, especially when they end with getting pupcups. He just loves everyone and wants to say hi and be part of life. You could say he just suffers from an acute case of FOMO, but then again, don’t all dogs just want to be part of the pawty? He is working on not pulling on the leash during outings, but would benefit from practice, training, and consistency. He does good in a kennel and stays in one while his foster parents leave the house and for bedtime. When he’s had enough alone time and misses you, he will just let you know with a couple of howls.
