Kane
AvailableThis large, short-coated Pit Bull Terrier has a handsome gray, blue, and white coloring and is an adult male currently at Companion Pet Rescue of Middle TN. He is house trained, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations. He gets along well with dogs and children, but not cats, and would love a home with a fenced backyard where he can play.
About Kane
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Kane might look like a tank, but don’t be fooled—he’s truly the biggest lover you’ll ever meet. At around 6 years old, he’s still very much a puppy at heart, bursting with playful energy and a zest for life. Kane has been around children of all ages and fits right in with their varying energy levels, making him a wonderful companion for families. He can get anxious during storms or when left alone, but with a few tricks, his anxiety is manageable and never dims his loving nature. Kane is diligently working on his leash manners and would truly thrive with a secure, 6-foot fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and burn off energy. He enjoys the company of other dogs, but best to arrange a meet-and-greet to ensure compatibility. However, Kane prefers a home without cats, as he doesn’t realize his own strength and can play too rough. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, affectionate companion who’s ready to shower your home with love, Kane is waiting to meet you! Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Kane
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Pit Bull Terriers are energetic and benefit from access to a yard where they can run and play, although regular walks and trips to the park can also provide the necessary exercise if a yard isn’t available.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
When properly socialized, Pit Bull Terriers are often affectionate and gentle with children, making them well-suited for family life. As with any breed, supervising interactions and setting boundaries helps ensure safe play.
