My name is Sorbet and this is the true story of my rescue, daring escape, being trapped, and how I learned to enjoy the comforts of a home! My brother, Ralph, and I were very sick kittens when we were found in Nogales just a few days before Christmas. With the help of antibiotics and a lot of TLC, we were soon well enough to go to a foster home. But I had other plans! On a chilly winter night, I made a break for it and crept out the window. I was free but now what!? I couldn't find a bowl of food anywhere and it was a little scary outside all alone. I stayed close to a business where a very nice man decided to feed me. He contacted Paws Patrol and wouldn't you know I ended up exactly where I ran away from! This time I went to a foster home where a very handsome cat named Grayson lives. He's dreamy, a little shy and also looking for his forever home so we have a lot in common. I like being with him and it sure would be fun to be adopted together. I've been in my foster home for two weeks and everyday I become a little more brave and affectionate. I feel like a different cat! A little patience and gentle persuasion has made such a difference in my confidence. Today I enjoy exploring, wand toys, having my ears rubbed, Churu treats, TV time, and bird watching. The purr-fect home for me would be a quiet one where I could be given time to settle in and feel comfortable. Maybe even room for another kitty (did I mention how handsome Grayson is ;).
