About Carl
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Carl is a super-sweet, chunky lovebug ready to brighten your days. He spent most of his life with his human mom until she decided to travel, and then briefly with a friend whose allergies made it impossible to keep Carl. That journey led him here, waiting for someone just like you! Everyone who meets Carl says he's the best buddy you'll ever find. He delights in birdwatching, exploring, treats, playing in boxes, and especially in being near his person—your lap is his favorite place to be. Carl has never lived with dogs or children, so his compatibility with them is not known, but he’s always been a very good boy with no behavioral issues. He enjoys a playful moment but is happiest cuddling close to you. Born on October 29, Carl is a Scorpio, so expect a loyal companion with a loving, attentive nature. The shelter does not permit declawing, but volunteers are happy to teach you how to trim his nails safely. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
