Holland is a striking 1-year-old black cat who is still extremely overwhelmed by shelter life and prefers to keep her distance from people right now. Coming from a property with far too many cats after their owner passed away, Holland likely had very limited one-on-one interaction with people before arriving at the shelter. Because of that, she remains very nervous with handling and may hiss or attempt to bite when frightened or feeling cornered. At this time, Holland appears most comfortable observing from a safe distance and would likely do best in a barn, shop, or working-cat setting where she can have space, routine, and a safe place to land without pressure for close interaction.
