Vera was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. Her owner was suffering from poor health and was no longer able to properly care for her many animals, so she made the brave decision to asl for help in finding new homes for her cats. Vera is stunningly gorgeous and a little on the shy side - she likes to hide her head in the crook of your elbow or even in your armpit when she is feeling worried. She lived with an unknown but large number of cats in her previous household and has good inter-cat skills, but we suspect she'll be much happier living with fewer feline friends. She is a sweet girl who we suspect will be a lap cat once she's in a calmer environment with a person or family dedicated to making her feel comfortable & safe.
