☀️🐾Sunshine is finally up for adoption! ☀️🐾 We lovingly call her Sunny Bear because she is just as sweet and cute as can be. Sunshine is a 10 year old pittie mix with the gentlest soul. She absolutely loves her people, enjoys going for walks, and happiest of all when she’s curled up close, soaking up love and attention. It can take her a little bit to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is incredibly loving and loyal. She takes a lot of comfort in other dogs and often looks to them for reassurance, so having a calm dog in the home could really help her feel safe and confident. Sunshine also enjoys being outside in the nice weather. If you have a fenced yard where she can relax and soak up the sunshine, that would be her perfect little slice of heaven. ☀️💛 Sunshine does have severe arthritis in her back and back legs, so she will need ongoing pain management to keep her comfortable. She recently received a Librela shot at the vet to help relieve her pain. We also want to give a huge thank you to Friends of Megan’s Paws & Claws, the 501(c)(3) that supports our pound, for helping cover the cost of her x-rays, bloodwork, and Librela injection. We are so grateful for their support. ❤️ Sunny Bear does not mind other calm dogs, but she has not yet been tested with kids or cats. Because of her achy bones, we would recommend a home with children 10 and older.
