About Tasha

Meet Tasha! Tasha is an older gal who came to B&B as an owner surrender due to the owners health. She was born July 2018 and is a sweet labrador retriever working on losing a few lbs! She is a sweet older lady who just wants all the love and pets. Her weight exhausts her and after a walk she will just nap by your side. She is used to being spoiled with treats and will beg for food, but is learning the importance of exercise and loves sniffing on a walk! Her favorite things are snuggling, treats, walks, and being your shadow. She needs a home with patience to bring her to a healthy weight! She is house and crate trained and does well on a leash, just pulls sometimes. She even knows commands: sit and crate! She is a certified couch potato looking for a personal trainer! Tasha can be dog selective and does have a bit of food/resource aggression, lays down to eat, and can be a little nervous around new people and new routines- but her foster is working with her daily on these things! Tasha is the cutest rectangle you’ll ever meet and will charm you with her sweet lab eyes! She promises to love you forever and follow you around if you give her all the pets and treats! She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on core vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. She has been heartworm tested and is Negative. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of core vaccinations, microchip, and his required spay, along with the cost of her care while in foster. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt Tasha, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt. Spay/Neuter Disclosure: Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics. Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption. Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
